Growing up during the 70’s and 80’s in the sleepy beach community of Malibu California, Kym spent her time surfing, riding horses and playing volleyball. Until she had to get a job.
In 1987 she started her first Company at the ripe, old age of 20, and sparked a career in fashion that would span the next two decades. Some of her most notable achievements are the clothing labels Bella Dahl, Hippie Jeans and True Religion Brand Jeans. Her fashions have been worn by a who’s-who in the celebrity world including David Beckham, Tom Ford, Angelina Jolie, Holly Robinson Peete, Heidi Klum, Jennifer Lopez, Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow, Gwen Stefani and Justin Timberlake. Just to name a few.
Her designs have been featured in almost every fashion magazine imaginable, including Vogue, Elle, Bazaar, InStyle and Rolling Stone. From Barney’s New York, to Neiman Marcus, to Bloomingdale’s, her fashions have been sold at the finest stores and boutiques the world over. A trendsetter, entrepreneur and fashionista, Kym’s success has become part of fashion history. But when asked what her greatest accomplishment is, she replies with a big smile, ‘My three boys. By Far.’
